EARLY CHILDHOOD LEARNING PROGRAM FOR
TODDLERS 18-24-MONTHS
At Grace Early Education Center, our toddler program gives children ages 18 to 24 months a safe, nurturing place to grow, explore, and build early skills. Our experienced teachers keep ratios low so every child gets individual attention, and our play-based curriculum supports physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. As a faith-centered early education center serving Conroe families, we partner closely with parents at every step of your child’s learning journey.
What Our Toddler Program Is
A toddler childcare program is structured early care and learning built for the 18 to 24 month stage, when children are walking, talking, and discovering the world fast. The goal is simple: turn everyday play into early learning while keeping each child safe, comfortable, and supported. Research from child development experts shows that consistent, responsive care in these early years lays the groundwork for later learning and behavior.
At Grace, our toddler learning program blends play-based learning, story time, music, art, and outdoor play in a cheerful, spacious classroom. Toddlers have their own cubby, enjoy Circle Time, snacks twice a day, and rest in a quiet, soothing space. Recess happens in our large fenced playground or full-sized gymnasium, giving toddlers plenty of room to move and explore safely.
Program Highlights
Learning begins right away in the toddler class, and it looks a lot like fun. Every day blends play, routine, and gentle structure so your child builds real skills while feeling safe and supported. Here is what your toddler will be working on:
- Social skills: toddlers learn to share, take turns, and play alongside new friends, building the confidence that carries into the two-year-old room.
- Language and literacy: story time, everyday conversations, following simple directions, and dedicated language activities grow your child's vocabulary and listening skills.
- Early fundamentals: toddlers begin recognizing letters, numbers, colors, and shapes through hands-on, age-appropriate play.
- Gross motor development: walking, running, climbing, and balancing are reinforced through active play indoors and on the playground.
- Spiritual development: each week in Junior Chapel, toddlers learn songs and hear simple Bible stories in a warm, faith-centered setting.
- STEAM exploration: age-appropriate science, technology, engineering, art, and math activities spark early curiosity and problem-solving.

We have attended Grace for a year now. My son started in 3s and is now in Pre-K. I LOVE how small the class sizes are! The largest class he was ever in was 9 kids. Therefore, there is really personalized attention to each child. Each teacher is given the freedom to make their lesson plans and it was really cool to see how passionate his teachers would get in what they did with the kids. He came home with numerous art projects but also handwriting papers. He just turned four and can do all the ABCs, numbers to 30, write his name, spell 5-10 words, recognize 2-3 words, tell you the seasons, days of the week, months of the year and the city, state, country and continent he lives on. They also have some enrichment with PE and soccer shots, although they used to have music and Spanish. The pastor is the kindest woman you will meet and they do Chapel on Wednesdays. This school really feels like a community, where other schools feel like an "institution." Each teacher and staff knows you, your kids and their needs. I come from a small town, and this is the first real community I have found for my son since I have lived here. Thank you Grace staff for all you do and how much you care!Posted on Google![]()

My grandson has gone to the summer program there in the past (he's in grade school now). He loved it, had an amazing time. The school was always filled with laugher and smiles whenever I would drop him off and pick him up. Every teacher I ran into always greeted me with a smile and said hello. It is a very warm and loving atmosphere. He would tell me he loved his teachers. He still talks about some to this day. We just loved our time at Grace and wish all the best for the teachers, staff, school and church!Posted on Google![]()
