Grace Early Education Center is a not-for-profit ministry of Grace Lutheran Church, providing a Christian preschool with a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where your child can learn and grow. As a ministry of Grace Lutheran Church, Grace actively practices one of the church’s core convictions: All are Welcome, No Exceptions. Our staff recognizes that followers of Christ practice and express their faith in many different ways, and we view these differences as part of the richness of the Christian faith, supporting and respecting them.

As a Christian preschool in Conroe, TX, children explore values and lessons aligned with Christian teachings, best summed up in Jesus’ simple teaching: Treat others as you would like to be treated. These values are learned through a faith-based curriculum appropriate for each age level, and just as importantly, the staff at Grace live out these Christian values in their everyday interactions with you, your child, and each other.

The Grace community takes an active interest in the school. As part of the whole campus ministry, three Grace families are prayed for, by last name only, during the congregational prayers in each Grace Lutheran Church Sunday service. Our youngest infant enrollees receive a baby blanket created by the Grace Lutheran Quilters group, and Grace church members can be seen assisting at various school events.

Where is Grace Early Education Center located?

What ages do you care for?

We care for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, with dedicated programs for infants, toddlers, two-year-olds, three-year-olds, and Pre-K. Each program offers age-appropriate learning and care to help your child grow.

Is Grace a faith-based preschool?

Yes. Grace Early Education Center is a Christian preschool and a not-for-profit ministry of Grace Lutheran Church. Children explore values and lessons in keeping with Christian teachings, summed up in the words of Jesus: Treat others as you would like to be treated.

Do we have to be Lutheran or Christian to enroll?

What programs do you offer?

We offer five age-based programs: an Infant Program, a Toddler Program, a Two-Year-Old Program, a Three-Year-Old Program, and a Pre-K Program. Each is designed around the developmental needs of that age group, with a faith-based curriculum appropriate for each level.

What are your hours of operation?

Grace Early Education Center is open Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, year-round. We follow the Conroe ISD calendar, and we offer flexible scheduling for families who need different hours of care. For details, see our Hours of Operation page or call 936-588-3020.

How much does tuition cost?

Tuition at Grace varies by program and by whether you choose full-time or part-time enrollment, and we offer year-round enrollment for all age groups. Do you offer full-time and part-time enrollment?

Yes. Grace offers both full-time and part-time enrollment, year-round, for infants, toddlers, and Pre-K. Availability can vary by program and classroom, so we recommend reaching out early to ask about current openings for your child’s age group.

How do I enroll my child?

  We have attended Grace for a year now. My son started in 3s and is now in Pre-K. I LOVE how small the class sizes are! The largest class he was ever in was 9 kids. Therefore, there is really personalized attention to each child. Each teacher is given the freedom to make their lesson plans and it was really cool to see how passionate his teachers would get in what they did with the kids. He came home with numerous art projects but also handwriting papers. He just turned four and can do all the ABCs, numbers to 30, write his name, spell 5-10 words, recognize 2-3 words, tell you the seasons, days of the week, months of the year and the city, state, country and continent he lives on. They also have some enrichment with PE and soccer shots, although they used to have music and Spanish. The pastor is the kindest woman you will meet and they do Chapel on Wednesdays. This school really feels like a community, where other schools feel like an "institution." Each teacher and staff knows you, your kids and their needs. I come from a small town, and this is the first real community I have found for my son since I have lived here. Thank you Grace staff for all you do and how much you care!

  My grandson has gone to the summer program there in the past (he's in grade school now).  He loved it, had an amazing time.  The school was always filled with laugher and smiles whenever I would drop him off and pick him up.  Every teacher I ran into always greeted me with a smile and said hello.  It is a very warm and loving atmosphere.  He would tell me he loved his teachers.  He still talks about some to this day.  We just loved our time at Grace and wish all the best for the teachers, staff, school and church!

  We came from a not so good school and coming to grace has been huge adjustment. My child loves interacting in chapel & wearing his various chapel shirts, loves his class and his teachers thanks Mrs Emily & Mrs Angie.
